The first three photos are from a school in Beijing. I was on an educators’ trip with the People to People Ambassador program in 2005, and we got to sit in on classes and talk with the students. They were funny, bright, respectful and very interested in learning more about us. Their teacher, who had an old-school chalkboard but also a computer and projector, had a big personality and clearly loved his work. The students stood whenever they were called upon to answer a question, and their uniforms looked like athletic apparel.
